We want to extend our sincere gratitude to our partners. Your partnership and support help us further our mission of addressing the immediate needs of community members experiencing food insecurity and homelessness. Through our programs, we’ve seen many lives touched and changed for the better. Our food shelf programs are designed to supplement household food budgets by providing food items and household products to our community members.
Our community members have increased access to healthier food options through our food rescue initiative and partnership with local grocery stores. Through our ethnic food initiative and partnership with food banks, we continue to reduce access barriers for our diverse community members by distributing culturally relevant food at the food shelf.
Our ability to carry out our work is only possible because of your partnership and support, and we are excited to continue collaborating with you. Our organization and the community members we serve are genuinely grateful for your kindness.
Our Partners include Minnesota Department of Health, Hennepin County, Best Buy, Second Harvest, the Food Group MN, Christ Family Kingdom Center and several grocery stores and co-ops have helped us make a difference in our community by helping us save lives and change the trajectory of hopelessness. With the help of these partners approximately 2,900 times in our shelters, over 150 adults have received hot meals, showers, safe peaceful sleep, breakfast, and transportation assistance through our programs. Some of the most difficult individuals to encourage to shelter, have sheltered at Rescue Now. We offered a 16-hour Covid19 vaccination clinic to 400 individuals. We could not continue our life-saving services without such partnerships. They give us an opportunity to make a difference in our community and change the path of hopelessness for some experiencing homelessness.
